| What is Wallcandy? |
Wallcandy is a new generation in designer artwork. Each mounted piece of artwork
is made from precision cut plastic laminates offering exciting new finishes such as super gloss,
matt satin, ultra metallic and even luminous glow.
With a variety of different size and
colour configurations available, there's something to spice up any plain and lifeless wall with
the perfect solution for everything from boardrooms right through to bedrooms - even wet areas
and outdoor spaces such as barbeque areas are catered for with the waterproof external Wallcandy range. |
| How is Wallcandy different from other art ranges? |
| Because Wallcandy is made from applied plastic laminates instead of flat paint surfaces or printed inks,
there are a variety of different exciting finishes available. Colours are rich, bold and consistent, and specialised laminates are used to
give texture and variety across different designs. All the substrates are resistant to fading even in constant direct sunlight,
and the waterproof exterior Wallcandy range can even be put outside in barbecue areas, inside in bathrooms, on garden walls, or anywhere
moisture is present. |
| What is the difference between Interior and Exterior Wallcandy? |
Interior Wallcandy is block mounted on an ultra lightweight backing substrate. It is approximately
20mm thick, and finished with either black or white edges depending on the design. It is ideal for interior walls and can be
hung on surfaces with relatively little structural support. Just a nail or picture hook is usually sufficient.
External wallcandy is waterproof and ideal for bathrooms, outdoor areas, or anywhere where moisture is present. It is mounted
on 6mm-10mm backing substrate and is a little heavier than the interior Wallcandy range. It has edges coloured the same
as the colourway design, and requires screw fixing to the wall however can be supplied in a hanging format for bathrooms.
